It’s that time of the year isn’t it? Graduation.
Graduation is when I get into the car (at the last minute) and drive to the dollar store to find they are out of all graduation cards. Then I cuss and get back in my car and drive to the grocery store hoping I’ll find one there.
With precious little time to spare, I throw a twenty into the envelope and let the kids fight over who licks it, as I speed down the road and try to answer their question…
“Mom, why do we always give people cardboard when they graduate?”
“Because it makes them laugh and it’s off color just like me. Besides, college students are always broke and busking may get them their next gallon of gas.”
“Can I do busking when I go to school?”
“Sure, Honey, that’s is our college plan, pure and simple.”
“Don’t tell Dave Ramsey. Okay?”
“Okay!”
Simply,
Sis
