If you haven’t noticed… Reclaim Simplicity has been down for a couple days due to me exceeding my bandwidth?
Even though I run this thing, I didn’t know what this bandwidth creature was. “Maybe it’s the width of Ben’s band while on stage?” I thought…Uh…probably not. So I googled it. I found out that bandwidth is the rate data is transferred. It’s that simple.
Simple if you’re a nerd. I was still lost. So I started thinking in terms of me. What would shut me down? Oh now that’s simple. Exceeding my fat jeans would shut me down.
So here’s what happen. I had a whole bunch of people show up to read this silly blog about simple things like, life. The bandwidth went through the roof, exceeding my limit and shut my blog down.
In Sis’s world that’s like eating from Thanksgiving to Christmas, falling in a sniffling, crying, kicking heap on New Years Eve because I can’t get my fat jeans up over my hips, then going out on New Years day to buy even bigger fat jeans. Therefore bandwidth equals fat jeans. Welcome to my world.
With that comparison in mind, there’s two ways to look at this. Be sad I need new fat jeans or happy I have plenty to eat. Since I’m a glass is half full gal…I’m thankful I have readers that come. Who sit beside me and laugh, cry and identify with my silly simple life. I can’t believe you’re here but are thankful from the bottom of my boots you are.
So I’ll just wipe the tears away, take a few measurements and buy some bigger fat jeans or more bandwidth to accommodate, you, my dear readers.
It’s okay. Hop right in. There’s room for everyone now.
Thank you for reading.
Simply,
Sis
