I’ve found Faith is better when it’s simple.

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1

The Cross.

Faith is different than religion.

With religion, comes rules.

When pursuing Faith, you pursue a relationship.

I’ll choose relationship.

The Cross.

It’s been said hell is the absence of God.

I’ve lived there.

I don’t like it.

It’s dark.

For the wages of sin is death…

Darkness

…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Which brings light…

Light

I don’t deserve light.

But Jesus said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

And that is more than enough.

It’s simple.

    Rita~ thanks blessings, Sister.

Bill~ As you can tell, I’m not a big fan of legalism. The only two rules I can see that we need is Love God first and love our neighbors like we love ourselves. Simple, I don’t need a list of do’s and don’ts, everything else falls under those two.

Thanks so much for stopping by and putting in your two cents.

I just wanted to say that I agree with you Sis.

Christ himself said that the greatest two commandments we were given were to love God and love others, and that all the other commands fall under these… and it’s true.

If you truly love God with everything you are you won’t do all the things that are stated in the Bible as being wrongs towards God and if you really love others as yourself then the same follows as well.

I also feel like people get too wrapped up in the legalism of things… when Christ didn’t. He kept things simple. Like they’re suppose to be!
